SMOLEVICHI DISTRICT, 3 September (BelTA) – Belarusian industrial enterprises are keen to develop cooperation with Chinese companies, BelTA learned from Belarusian Deputy Industry Minister Denis Bakei as the Chinese Goods and Services Exhibition opened at the trade and exhibition center of the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone.
According to Denis Bakei, the event not only signifies the strengthening of bilateral cooperation but also offers an opportunity to get a closer look at China’s latest achievements and technologies, which are of great interest.
“Our agency sees great potential for advancing industrial cooperation in many areas. The People’s Republic of China is one of the leaders in technology, manufacturing, and trade. A number of Belarusian enterprises have already found partners and are moving step by step towards implementing the outlined projects to set up joint manufacturing facilities, modernize production lines, introduce innovative technologies, and expand the range of products,” Denis Bakei noted.
He named the Great Stone industrial park as one of the examples of efficient interaction.
“This exhibition is not just a showcase of goods but also a platform for sharing experience and ideas. I hope that it will become a venue for business representatives, who want to establish new contacts and discuss prospects of further cooperation. I am confident that this event will open up new horizons for mutually beneficial cooperation and will give an impetus to Belarusian-Chinese relations,” Denis Bakei said. He added that enterprises affiliated with the Industry Ministry are open to closer cooperation, long-term contracts, and the establishment of joint ventures. The ministry is eager to provide assistance with the implementation of projects.
The Chinese Goods and Services Exhibition in the Great Stone industrial park is held for the fourth time and will last till 5 September. The theme of the exhibition is “Science and Technology”. Representatives of over 120 leading Chinese companies from various provinces, cities, and regions of China have come to Belarus.
