
MINSK, 16 May (BelTA) - Deputy Director General of the Minsk Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) Irina Ivanova held a working meeting with representatives of the delegation of Shanghai's Xuhui District. The visit of the Chinese delegation became an important step in strengthening the multifaceted partnership between Belarus and China, BelTA learned from the Minsk branch of the BelCCI.
The parties discussed prospects for deepening cooperation in key areas: industry, education, culture, trade and economic relations. Special attention was paid to expanding the participation of Belarusian business in conferences and exhibitions supported by the Minsk branch of the BelCCI and organized in Shanghai. The participants in the dialogue expressed confidence that the current visit of the Xuhui delegation would open up new opportunities for the implementation of joint projects and strengthening of bilateral ties.
The parties agreed to intensify cooperation in all areas, including the exchange of delegations. Irina Ivanova stressed that cooperation with such a dynamic area as Xuhui would open access to advanced technologies and new markets for Belarusian enterprises. “I am sure that after the first joint event there will be projects that will help increase trade and set up joint ventures,” she emphasized.
