MINSK, 20 May (BelTA) – Enterprises run by the Belarusian timber, woodworking, pulp and paper industry concern Bellesbumprom increased their export to Azerbaijan by over 30% in Q1 2022, Bellesbumprom's press service told BelTA.
Bellesbumprom shipped $14.6 million worth of merchandise to Azerbaijan in 2021, 108.2% as against 2020. In Q1 2022 the export growth rate amounted to 130.8% year-on-year. Bellesbumprom exported $2.7 million worth of fiberboards and chipboards, plywood, timber, furniture, paper, pasteboard, and some other kinds of merchandise to Azerbaijan. The export of chipboards, paper, and pasteboard grew most rapidly.
A delegation of heads of several Bellesbumprom enterprises is in Azerbaijan on a visit. They are expected to meet with old and new partners. The visit is expected to help increase merchandise export to Azerbaijan. Bellesbumprom enterprises have been working on Azerbaijan's market for a long time, selling a broad choice of woodworking industry products and pulp and paper industry products.
