Belarus, Venezuela aim to inject new momentum into trade relations

MINSK, 21 January (BelTA) - Belarus and Venezuela are focused on injecting new momentum into trade and economic relations. The matter was discussed during a meeting between Belarus’ Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Dmitry Derevinsky, and Venezuela’s Minister of Foreign Trade Coromoto Godoy Calderón, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“The parties confirmed their intention to give qualitatively new momentum and practical substance to Belarusian-Venezuelan trade and economic relations. They discussed in detail the export opportunities of the two countries, taking into account the complementary nature of the Belarusian and Venezuelan economies,” the ministry’s press service said.

The meeting also outlined plans to hold joint events in the near future aimed at stimulating business activity between the countries and strengthening bilateral cooperation.
