MINSK, 9 November (BelTA) - The second edition of the Spotlight into Belarus forum dedicated to investment and business cooperation between Belarus and the UAE was held in Dubai on 9 November, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in the UAE.
The forum brought together representatives of over 20 Belarusian companies and about 60 Emirati businesses, representatives of the Ministry of Economy of the UAE and Dubai Exports.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the United Arab Emirates Andrei Luchenok addressed the forum participants with an introductory speech. Belarus' representatives introduced the participants to the possibilities of business and investment cooperation between Belarus and the UAE, the terms of doing business and investing in Belarus.
Business negotiations on trade, economic and investment cooperation between Belarus and the UAE were held on the sidelines of the event. The forum was held with the organizational support of the Embassy and Consulate General of Belarus in Dubai, the Minsk Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI), the National Agency of Investment and Privatization and EurAsia Gulf.
