
MINSK, 11 April (BelTA) - The National Center for Marketing and Price Study plans to organize a collective exposition of Belarus at the International trade show Ethiopia Agrofood, which is set to take place in Addis Ababa on 19-21 June, BelTA learned from the marketing center.
Ethiopia Agrofood is a specialized exhibition event covering the entire food production chain: from agricultural equipment to finished products. In 2024, 122 companies from 12 countries, namely China, Türkiye, UAE, India, Ethiopia, Kenya, France, Germany, Italy, the UK and others took part in the exhibition, and the number of professional visitors exceeded 3,400.
Highlights of the show include: food and beverages, food ingredients, food and beverage equipment and technology, agricultural machinery, equipment and technology, hospitality and catering equipment and supplies, and packaging.
“Ethiopia is the second most populous country in Africa with one of the fastest growing economies in the region. According to Trading Economics, based on statistics from the National Bank of Ethiopia, the country's imports have reached a historic high in 2024. The main imports include food products, textiles, machinery and fuel,” the National Center for Marketing said.
Its specialists have no doubts: participation of Belarusian enterprises and organizations in the collective exposition at Ethiopia Agrofood expo will promote domestic products to the market of the region, establish new business contacts with potential partners, increase Belarusian exports and diversify the commodity lineup. The National Center for Marketing will provide Belarusian enterprises and organizations with a range of services for participation in the collective exposition: the exposition design project, construction and decoration of the stand, complex solution of organizational issues from selection of the optimal air travel, hotel and transfer to assistance in visa matters.
