Belarus to increase supply of machine tools to Kazakhstan

MINSK, 9 October (BelTA) – On 9 October, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Kazakhstan Aleksei Bogdanov met with Viktor Kirilenko who runs the Kazakh company PromTekhAstana, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, Viktor Kirilenko highlighted that his company serves as a dealer in Kazakhstan for several Belarusian machine-tool manufacturers, offering professional selection of metalworking equipment for local enterprises. The company’s line of business also includes the supply of machine tools, tooling, and cutting instruments, as well as the comprehensive modernization and re-equipment of industrial facilities. Its highly qualified and experienced specialists also provide maintenance services for machine tools.

The parties exchanged information on upcoming engineering-themed exhibitions and events in Kazakhstan and discussed PromTekhAstana’s potential participation in them. 

The company’s top managers were invited to attend the forthcoming meeting of the Business Cooperation Council in Astana, which will focus on industrial cooperation between the business communities of Belarus and Kazakhstan.

Additionally, the meeting addressed plans to increase the supply of Belarusian machine-tool products to Kazakhstan in 2025-2026.
