Belarus sets up national pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai

MINSK, 28 January (BelTA) – Belarus has completed the construction of the national pavilion at the Expo 2020 that will be held in Dubai, the UAE from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Marketing Center of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The construction works at the site have been finished. The mirror-clad building has been fitted with the necessary equipment, including wiring, systems for audio and video equipment, as well as fire protection, ventilation, and video surveillance systems. Works on the walls, ceilings, and floors of the pavilion have also been completed.

The next stage of the construction includes designing the sections of the pavilion, arranging exhibits, and installing equipment and other elements. These works will finish in September 2021. After that, the organizers will upload the audio and video content.

The National Marketing Center is drawing up a business program of the Belarusian pavilion. It will include National Day of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian investment forum, days of Belarusian regions and the city of Minsk, days of tourism and science, presentations of companies, and other events.

The National Marketing Center is the official operator of the Belarusian pavilion at the Expo 2020. It helps Belarusian companies make the most of their participation in the event and promotes export of Belarusian products to the UAE and the Persian Gulf countries.
