
MINSK, 30 September (BelTA) – A 2025-2027 action plan to implement the cooperation agreement between the government of the Republic of Belarus and the government of Russia’s Novosibirsk Oblast was signed on the sidelines of the INNOPROM. Taking part in the signing ceremony were First Deputy Governor of Novosibirsk Oblast Yuri Petukhov and Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Viktor Karankevich.
“Today’s meeting is an excellent opportunity to assess the current situation and identify new avenues for growth. We see significant potential to deepen our collaboration across many sectors. The document we have signed today is an additional step in fulfilling our agreements. To that end, we are eager to host you at our enterprises to showcase our production capabilities. We are also ready to consider and support any proposals you have for their implementation,” said Viktor Karankevich.

Yuri Petukhov noted that the Novosibirsk delegation includes 14 innovative companies. “We are very interested in communication. Our delegation includes the minister of science and innovation policy, the acting minister of industry, and the chief of staff of the governor, so we can discuss the interim results of implementing our protocol of events and outline a number of proposals,” he said.

Today, Yuri Petukhov also met with Brest Oblast Deputy Governor Mikhail Batsenko. The parties signed an updated action plan for 2024-2026 to implement the cooperation agreement in social matters, economy, science, technology, and culture.
