MINSK, 5 January (BelTA) - Belarus and Russia are defining plans for cooperation in aircraft manufacturing for decades to come, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik told the media after his report to the Belarusian president on 5 January, BelTA has learned.
According to him, negotiations were held in the Russian government at the end of 2025, which also discussed issues of cooperation in industrial production. “We agreed that an updated program in aircraft manufacturing, which will engage our industrial sector, will be developed by 2035,” the ambassador informed.
“We agreed to create a unified information system that will oversee the elimination and establishment of duplicate production facilities, so that we develop and complement each other, rather than competing in a given sector,” Aleksandr Rogozhnik said.
