MOSCOW, 25 October (BelTA) - Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik met with Head of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor) Sergei Dankvert on 25 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the diplomatic mission.
The parties noted the high level of relations between the two countries and welcomed the successful results of interaction between the appropriate services in the field of veterinary and phytosanitary surveillance of Belarus and Russia.
"The head of the Rosselkhoznadzor gave a positive assessment of cooperation with the veterinary and phytosanitary services of Belarus," the press service said.
Ambassador Aleksandr Rogozhnik and Sergei Dankvert reviewed the progress in the integration of the information systems in the field of veterinary and phytosanitary control in the Union State. The parties attach great importance to ensuring effective laboratory control of products and raw materials and also further digitalization of food production control in the Union State and the Eurasian Economic Union to ensure full traceability of raw materials and finished products.
