Belarus’ economic potential showcased in Türkiye’s Izmir

MINSK, 2 December (BelTA) – Belarus is aiming to strengthen investment cooperation with Izmir, Türkiye, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian National Center for Marketing.

The center showcased Belarus’ cooperation opportunities in Izmir, the heart of the Aegean region. Special events were held for members of the Izmir Chamber of Commerce and the Young Entrepreneurs Association, organized jointly with the Consulate General of Belarus in Istanbul, and dedicated to developing business contacts, particularly in ICT and investment cooperation.

Deputy Director of the National Center for Marketing Yevgeny Rusak presented Belarus’ economic potential and expressed the readiness of the center to support Turkish companies in entering the Belarusian market and developing bilateral business initiatives. Together with representatives of the High-Tech Park and the China-Belarus Great Stone Industrial Park, promising areas of cooperation were outlined.

A separate part of the program was Yevgeny Rusak’s meeting with the management of ORION, organizer of the AgroExpo exhibition, which will take place in Izmir in February 2026. This event will serve as an important platform for Belarusian producers of agricultural products and technologies.

The National Center for Marketing invites companies to participate in AgroExpo and is prepared to provide support at all stages of preparation.

The events demonstrated that interest in Belarus is growing, and Belarusian and Turkish companies are increasingly becoming genuine partners for one another, rather than foreign counterparts.
