MINSK, 4 December (BelTA) – A business meeting titled as “Brazil: The way to success on the Latin American market” organized by the business school 21st Century Consult took place in Minsk. Deputy Director of the National Center for Marketing Yevgeny Rusak was one of the key speakers. He talked about opportunities for Belarus to export to the Brazilian market, the press service of the National Center for Marketing told BelTA.
The speech focused on Brazil as the largest economy in Latin America. Brazil vigorously imports machines, vehicles, equipment, industrial goods, and high-tech products. With its strong positions in mechanical engineering industry and specialized segments, Belarus has real chances of expanding its presence on this market.
According to the International Trade Center, Belarus’ unrealized potential for export to Brazil exceeds $450 million. It opens up opportunities for growth in such areas as agricultural machines, mechanical engineering products, industrial parts, and high-precision instruments.
Brazil is built into the system of regional trade agreements, which make its position on the world market stronger. The absence of special agreements with a number of large economies opens up additional opportunities for Belarus to step up its presence.
“Brazil is a market of challenges but also of opportunities. Belarus has equal starting positions and all the grounds for success,” Yevgeny Rusak stressed.
