MINSK, 27 September (BelTA) - Representatives of Belarus and Cuba are set to discuss the prospects of trade and economic cooperation at the Belarusian-Cuban business forum that is due on 27 September, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).
Attending the business forum will be BelCCI Deputy Chairman Denis Meleshkin, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba Antonio Luis Carricarte Corona, and over 80 representatives of companies and organizations from both countries.
The parties are expected to consider promising areas of Belarusian-Cuban trade and economic cooperation and topical business issues. Representatives of the Belarusian and Cuban business communities will talk about the development of mutually beneficial cooperation and implementation of joint projects in molecular immunology, scientific and technological developments, education, metallurgy, agricultural engineering, trade, coffee, rum production and other areas.
The event is organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba and the Embassy of Cuba in Belarus.
