
MINSK, 6 August (BelTA) – Belarusian Industry Minister Andrei Kuznetsov held a working meeting with Aleksandr Chervyakov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China, to discuss ways to improve industrial cooperation, the press service of Belarus’ Industry Ministry told BelTA.
Heads of several enterprises affiliated with the Industry Ministry also attended the meeting, which centered on enhancing bilateral tradeand economic cooperation, investment partnerships and joint project implementation.
Andrei Kuznetsov emphasized the importance of attracting Chinese investments into Belarus’ industrial sector, as well as advancing joint initiatives aimed at establishing cooperative projects, modernization of production facilities and the assimilation of innovations.
The meeting also covered the activities of the Belarus-China commission on industrial cooperation, established on 21 May 2025, during the sixth session of the Belarus-China intergovernmental committee on cooperation. Andrei Kuznetsov and Aleksandr Chervyakov discussed preparations for the commission’s inaugural meeting, with special attention given to challenges to enhance bilateral industrial cooperation.
