MINSK, 1 April (BelTA) – Senior executives of the free economic
zone Minsk administration have met with Dr. Hashmat Seyar Amarkhail, the
founder and head of Afghanistan-based Zafaran Pharmaceuticals, BelTA
learned from the press service of the FEZ Minsk.
The company is interested in trade, production and investments, and is also considering the possibility of building a pharmaceutical enterprise on the territory of the free economic zone.
First Deputy Head of the FEZ Minsk Administration Sergei Bubenko presented the investment potential of the FEZ, the terms of obtaining a resident company status, and possible areas of work in the FEZ. The parties also discussed cooperation options.
Zafaran Pharmaceuticals has been in the healthcare industry for over 25 years and is one of the five largest pharmaceutical companies in Afghanistan. The company has a license to manufacture more than 60 names of medicines and specializes in the production of generics, capsules, dry mixtures and injectable medicines.
