Kochanova: Cleanness is Belarus’ brand

MINSK, 20 April (BelTA) - Members of the Presidium of the Council of the Republic led by Chairperson Natalya Kochanova and employees of the Secretariat of the Council of the Republic are taking part in the national cleanup day beautifying the Park of the 40th Anniversary of the Great October Revolution in Minsk, BelTA has learned.



The Council of the Republic team have volunteered their time to plant trees, beautify green spaces, and clean the territory of autumn leaves.



“This is our tradition to gather in April in an effort to make a positive impact on our community during the national cleanup day,” Natalya Kochanova said. “We are territorially assigned to Leninsky District and we are always happy to accept the proposal to clean up areas and plant trees.”









According to the speaker, it is great to work together on such a beautiful day. “Such events unite people and encourage them to give back to their communities for the good of our country,” the speaker of the Council of the Republic said. “We take pride in our clean and beautiful streets, parks, and squares. People often do not think about how hard this work is. The work of the people who do it on a daily basis - workers of housing and utilities services, enterprises and organizations. We must appreciate it if we want our Belarus to remain beautiful and well-maintained. Whoever takes part in the cleanup day will never throw litter in the street and will try to preserve the beautiful nature in our country, will keep our streets clean.”









“Cleanness is the brand of our country,” Natalya Kochanova stressed. “We have not only a clean and well-maintained country but also a lot of green spaces. Every year we join tree planting campaigns in our country. This is something we are really proud of. People often bring their children to the national cleanup events, which means that this tradition will be passed on from generation to generation. We will always be proud of our beautiful, clean, well-maintained and landscaped country.”
