MINSK, 21 January (BelTA) – Demining activities in the conflict zone of Ukraine will be completed by 21 March, OSCE special representative in the trilateral contact group on Ukraine Martin Sajdik told media on 20 January, BelTA informs.
“Today the working group on security coordinated the date for the completion of the demining activities and the restoration of vital civilian facilities, by 21 March,” said Martin Sajdik.
In his words, two out of 12 areas have already been demined.
Besides, the working group emphasized the importance for a prompt removal of all restrictions in the freedom of movement for the representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine.
