MINSK, 5 May (BelTA) - The Lithuanian authorities provide support, including financial one, to paramilitary groups, which aim to overthrow the legitimate authorities in Belarus, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik said in an interview with RIA Novosti, BelTA has learned.
According to the information the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has, Lithuania fully supports such actions. “The information we have indicates that the Lithuanian authorities do not just tolerate but actually support and finance the formation of paramilitary groups, aimed at overthrowing the legitimate authorities in Belarus and using terrorist and extremist activities against our country,” Sergei Aleinik said.
He added that Belarus is aware of the preparation and financing of such paramilitary formations in Lithuania.
