MINSK, 29 November (BelTA) – The State Science and Technology Committee of Belarus and the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam will hold a competition of joint sci-tech projects in 2018-2019. The decision was taken at the meeting of the joint Belarusian-Vietnamese commission on sci-tech cooperation, BelTA learned from the press service of the State Science and Technology Committee of Belarus.
The competition will include the priority areas of bilateral sci-tech cooperation: IT, biotechnologies, agro-technologies, new materials, electrooptic technologies. The parties also considered and approved the program of sci-tech and innovative cooperation for 2017-2020.
The Belarusian-Vietnamese sci-tech cooperation is based on the intergovernmental agreement signed on 5 June 1995.
