Lukashenko offers condolences to Putin, Tuleyev over shopping mall fire victims

MINSK, 26 March (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has expressed condolences to Russia President Vladimir Putin and Governor of Kemerovo Oblast Aman Tuleyev over the victims of the fire in the shopping mall in Kemerovo, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“It is with deep pain and sorrow that the Republic of Belarus has learned the news about the fire in the shopping mall in Kemerovo which claimed the lives of many people, including children. It is a huge loss for the families of the victims and for Russia. We express sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to the injured,” the message of condolences to Vladimir Puin reads.

On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself Alexander Lukashenko offered condolences to the Russian president and Russian people.

The head of state also expressed condolences to Governor of Kemerovo Oblast Aman Tuleyev. It reads that the tragedy also affected his family. “The hearts of Belarusians are full of sorrow and compassion. We share your grief in this difficult moment,” the Belarusian leader stressed.
