Working group to discuss access to markets, Belarus' accession to WTO in Kiev

MINSK, 1 September (BelTA) – The fourth session of the Belarusian-Ukrainian high-level working group on mutual trade will take place in Kiev, Ukraine on 2 September, BelTA learned from Dmitry Mironchik, Head of the Information Office, Press Secretary of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on 1 September.

Plans have been made to discuss mutual trade, access to markets, and Belarus' accession to the WTO, said the Press Secretary of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Experts of interested government agencies of Belarus and Ukraine will meet for consultations prior to the session.

The Belarusian part of the working group will be led by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrei Yevdochenko, the Ukrainian part will be headed by Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister, Ukraine's trade representative Natalya Mikolskaya.

Representatives of a number of government agencies and organizations of Belarus, including the Agriculture and Food Ministry, the Architecture and Construction Ministry, the Industry Ministry, the petrochemical concern Belneftekhim, the light industry concern Bellegprom, the food industry concern Belgospishcheprom, and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will also take part in the session.
