MINSK, 13 January (BelTA) – Representatives of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People's Republic (LNR) and Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) have joined the meeting of the trilateral contact group on Ukraine in Minsk, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The trilateral contact group promoting the peace settlement in Ukraine resumed talks in Minsk on 13 January for the first time in 2016.
Earlier, the Normandy Four leaders emphasized it is important that members of the contact group continue working towards full and comprehensive implementation of the Minsk agreements.
