Pushilin: The contact group will meet two more times in 2015

MINSK, 9 December (BelTA) – The trilateral contact group on Ukraine will hold two more meetings in 2015, representative of the self-proclaimed People's Republic of Donetsk Denis Pushilin told media on 8 December, BelTA informs.

“The work is still intense. Consensus has not been found on many issues yet. We attract different experts with experience in settling such conflicts,” said Denis Pushilin.

In turn, representative of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People's Republic in the contact group on Ukraine Vladislav Deinego noted that the group on economic affairs discussed nearly ten issues. Results have been reached in a number of areas. However, no decision was taken in what concerns the main issue, which is mutual payments.

The humanitarian working group considered the swap of all the prisoners.

Besides, one of the key issues on the agenda of the meeting of the contact group was the observation of all the procedures in negotiations. “The parties discussed issues related to the regulations. The sides showed complete understanding and reached consensus. I hope that in the future the work of all the participants will be even more systemic and productive,” he added.
