Next meeting of Ukraine contact group scheduled for 6 April

MINSK, 23 March (BelTA) – The next meeting of the contact group on Ukraine will be held in Minsk on 6 April, OSCE special representative in the trilateral contact group on Ukraine Martin Sajdik told journalists on 23 March, BelTA has learned.

“The next meeting is scheduled for 6 April,” he said.

Martin Sajdik noted that on 23 March the working group on economic affairs discussed matters related to the restoration of the water supply system, railway infrastructure, and power transmission lines. “As I said earlier, there is one unsettled issue concerning the payment of water bills. The sides will try to reach an agreement on the matter by the end of the month,” the OSCE special representative noted.

He once again emphasized the importance of full compliance with the ceasefire that is needed for the restoration of infrastructure.
