MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) – Belarus' delegation led by Alexander Chesnovsky, the head of the international security and arms control department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, participated in the 13th meeting of the Special Verification Commission under the Treaty between the USA and the USSR on the Elimination of their Intermediate-Range and Shorter-Range Missiles, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
“During the meeting, the delegations of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, Ukraine and the United States of America discussed the issues related to the enforcement of the Treaty,” the press service said.
