Belarus, Greece reaffirm commitment to strengthening bilateral relations

MINSK, 7 March (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Bulgaria with concurrent accreditation to Greece Vladimir Voronkovich has met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Greece to Bulgaria Grigorios Vassiloconstandakis in Sofia. The parties reaffirmed the commitment of Belarus and Greece to the development of their relations, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“During the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the bilateral relations in all areas of mutual interest. The ambassadors exchanged opinions on the organization of a number of joint events in 2017, including exchanges of visits, the first meeting of the Belarus-Greece intergovernmental commission for trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation, and also the next round of consultations between the foreign ministries,” the press service said.

Vladimir Voronkovich passed on words of greeting from Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei to Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Kotzias on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
