MINSK, 3 November (BelTA) – Belarus' Economy Ministry and the EBRD discussed pre-privatization assistance to state-owned enterprises, BelTA learned from the the website of the Economy Ministry.
First Deputy Economy Minister Dmitry Krutoy met with Artur Radziwill, Director of Country Economics and Policy at the EBRD to discuss the current macroeconomic situation in Belarus and the government's plans to improve the efficiency of corporate governance.
The parties also discussed the pre-privatization assistance to state-owned enterprises by the EBRD and the government's plans to reform the housing and utilities sector, including the plans to increase energy efficiency of residential and public buildings.
The EBRD representatives once again welcomed the high level of interaction with Belarus.
