The presidential election in Belarus was held in accordance with the national legislation and international obligations of the country, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Head of the SCO observer mission at the presidential election in Belarus Nurlan Yermekbayev told the media following the meeting with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko on 27 January.
