Shymanovich progresses to WTA 125K Valencia round two

MINSK, 11 June (BelTA) – Belarus’ world number 160 Iryna Shymanovich went off to a good start at the WTA 125K Valencia, defeating Latvia’s World No.125 Darja Semenistaja, 6-3, 6-3, in the opener, BelTA has learned. 

The Belarusian will next play Russia’s world number 188 Alina Charaeva for a spot in the quarterfinal.

The event in Valencia will be over on 15 June.
