BREST, 2 November (BelTA) – The national competitions for junior figure skaters will be held in Baranovichi on 4-7 November, figure skating coach Tatiana Kremzukova told BelTA.
Three tournaments will take place at the Baranovichi Ice Palace. About 210 fledgling athletes from all over the country will take part in the second stage of Belarus' open cup in figure skating. Most of the children will come from Gomel, Minsk, Baranovichi, Pruzhany, Ivatsevichi.
The figure skating events will be co-located with the second stage of the Open Cup of the Skating Union of Belarus. Taking part in it will be 25 young athletes.
HC Baranovichi will hold the Autumn Cup figure skating competition for boys and girls. Twenty-eight kids will perform in the Beginner and Young Skater categories.
The competitions will be held from 8:00 to 21:00 on 5-6 November. Entrance to all events will be free.
