MINSK, 24 February (BelTA) — HC Dinamo Minsk lost to HC Amur Khabarovsk 5-6 in the KHL final regular-season match on 23 February, BelTA has learned.
Michal Jordan's shorthanded tally opened the scoring three minutes into the game, but Denis Mosalyov tied it up less than two minutes later.
In the 16th minute, Denis Golubev restored Amur's advantage, but Minsk responded with a burst of four goals either side of the intermission. Zack Mitchell and Francis Pare gave the home team a lead before the break, and Pavel Varfolomeyev struck on the power play early in the second period.
Unfortunately, the Bisons failed to hold to their advantage. Amur responded with goals from Vladimir Butuzov, Alexander Polunin and Hynek Zohorna. Alexei Protas erased the visitors' one-goal advatnage, before Valentin Pyanov added late tally for Amur to decide the winner in the 55th minute.
