MINSK, 18 February (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk will play a home match in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) regular championship on 18 February, BelTA has learned.
The Minsk Bisons will face HC Spartak Moscow for the second time in four days, only this time the match between the two capital city clubs will be hosted by Minsk-Arena. During the game in Moscow on 15 February, the Minsk side was trailing 1-3, then tied the score, but still suffered a defeat with a score of 3-4. Earlier this month, HC Dinamo Minsk had a three-game winning streak, while the Moscow club had three losses.
In the Western Conference standings, Dmitri Kvartalnov’s team sits in third place with 73 points, one point behind HC Severstal Cherepovets and eight points behind HC Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. The Minsk side has already secured their spot in the KHL playoffs. The Moscow side have 64 points and are in seventh position. The match is scheduled for 7.10 p.m.
