MINSK, 20 November (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk will play the first of two home games in the ongoing regular championship of the Kontinental Hockey League 2025/26 season on 20 November, BelTA has learned.
Dmitri Kvartalnov’s team will face off against HC CSKA Moscow. Following a two-game road swing that saw them beat HC Ak Bars Kazan 7-3, then lose to HC Severstal Cherepovets 2-4, the Bisons are back in Minsk. Meanwhile, HC CSKA Moscow arrive in Belarus to wrap up their away series, coming off a loss to HC Severstal Cherepovets 3-4, a defeat by HC Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk 2-3, and a win over HC Ak Bars Kazan 4-1. In the Western Conference standings, HC Dinamo Minsk ranks fourth with 37 points, while HC CSKA Moscow is 8 points behind and currently sits in 8th place.
In the current regular championship, the teams from the capitals of Belarus and Russia have met twice, exchanging home victories. Last season, they clashed in the first round of the KHL playoffs, where a series victory with a score of 4-2 allowed the Minsk Bisons to advance to the KHL Gagarin Cup quarterfinals for the first time in their history. The upcoming match between HC Dinamo Minsk and HC CSKA Moscow starts at the Minsk Arena at 7 p.m.
