MINSK, 3 May (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes won gold and silver at the European Championhsips in Trampoline Gymnastics in Sochi, BelTA has learned.
Belarus' Aleh Rabtsau scored a total of 60,815 points to clinch gold. Silver went to Uladzislau Hancharou (60,580 points). Russia's Andrei Yudin took bronze (59,725 points).
Polina Shedko placed seventh with the total of 30,395 points in the women's individual event. Yana Lebedeva of Russia won the event with the total of 56,685 points. Silver went to France's Lea Labrousse (54,365), with France's Marine Jurbert taking bronze (53,870).
Earlier, Belarusian athletes Uladislau Hancharou and Aleh Rabtsau clinched the Synchronized gold. Besides, Ivan Litvinovich, Aleh Rabtsau, Uladzislau Hancharou and Aliaksei Dudarau won the Team Trampoline competition.
The Women Team silver went to Katsiaryna Yarshova, Tatsiana Piatrenya, Viktoryia Kuidan and Palina Shedzko. The Women Synchronized silver was collected by Katsiaryna Yarshova and Viktoryia Kuidan.
The junior Team event was won by Belarusian athletes Andrei Builau, Stanislau Yaskevich, Ivan Melnikau and Daniil Pshenko. Daniil Psehnko and Ivan Melnikau also won the Synchronized event. Uladzislau Lesnitski took the Individual Tumbling bronze. The Team Tumbling silver went to Uladzislau Lesnitski, Leanid Chumak, Dmitry Pishchenka, and Mikita Bogush.
The junior women's Team event silver was collected by Vialetta Bardzilouskaya, Aliaksandra Stalyarova, Zlata Shalkouskaya and Maryia Siarheeva. Vialetta Bardzilouskaya and Maryia Siarheeva won the Synchronized event.
