MINSK, 18 May (BelTA) – The Belarus national U19 football team secured a dominant victory in the 2027 UEFA Euro qualifying tournament, BelTA has learned.

In the second match of qualifying Group B3, Sergei Sosnovsky’s team thrashed host nation San Marino 6-0. Zakhar Drachou and Andrei Lutskovich each scored a brace, while Yan Priemko and Siarhei Zhyvushka also found the net. In the final round on 21 May, Belarus will face Slovakia. Latvia, another team in this group, was issued a 0-3 forfeit loss following their refusal to play against Belarus. Only the top team will claim a spot in League A. With action already wrapped up in five League B groups, Lithuania, Norway, the Netherlands, Romania, and Kosovo have successfully secured their step up. In early June, Tbilisi will host the Group B7 tournament, featuring the youth national teams of Georgia, Iceland, and Montenegro.

Following the qualifying tournament, the top eight teams will qualify for the 2027 UEFA European Under-19 Championship, which will be hosted by Czechia in the summer of 2027.
