MINSK, 24 August (BelTA) - The roster of the Belarusian national ice hockey team for the 2022 Olympic ice hockey qualifiers has been announced, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation.
The tournament in Group D will take place in Bratislava on 26-29 August. Belarus will play against Slovakia, Austria and Poland for the 2022 Olympic spot.
Head coach of the Belarusian national ice hockey team Craig Woodcroft named a squad of 25 players:
goaltenders: Aleksei Kolosov, Ivan Kulbakov (both – HC Dinamo Minsk), Danny Taylor (no club);defensemen: Nick Bailen (HC Traktor, KHL), Kirill Gotovets (HC Avangard, KHL), Vladislav Yeremenko, Sergei Sapego (both - HC Dinamo Minsk), Vladislav Kolyachonok (Arizona Coyotes, USA, NHL), Dmitry Korobov (HC Spartak, KHL), Evgeny Lisovets (HC Salavat Ulayev, KHL), Ilya Solovyov (Calgary Flames, Canada), Kristian Khenkel (HC Ak Bars, KHL);
