MINSK, 19 November (BelTA) – Belarus lost to Albania 2-3 in the final match of the UEFA Nations League group stage on 18 November, BelTA has learned.
Albania won promotion to League B. Max Ebong's 80th-minute strike added to a nervous ending, but the hosts held on to take three points in Tirana.
Maksim Skavysh scored one more for Belarus.
Sokol Cikalleshi struck twice for Albania. Rey Manaj fired home Albania's 3rd.
In the previous match Belarus lost to Albania 0-2 in Minsk.
Elsewhere, Lithuania edged Kazakhstan 2-1 in Almaty.
The final standings are as follows: Albania – 11 points, Belarus – 10, Lithuania – 8, and Kazakhstan – 4.
