MINSK, 12 July (BelTA) - The Belarusian Athletics Federation and the All-Russian Athletics Federation signed an additional cooperation agreement, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Athletics Federation.
The agreement for 2026 was concluded by Head of the Belarusian Athletics Federation Ivan Tsikhan and Chairman of the All-Russian Athletics Federation Petr Fradkov. The parties agreed on cooperation on several points that include the participation of the best athletes in the championships and cups of Belarus and Russia, Masters tournaments and national tournaments among veterans. The federations will continue to exchange coaching and refereeing staff and conduct joint training camps and seminars for specialists.
The parties plan to organize an international series of matches in athletics among the teams of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan in various age categories and to make a documentary about the cooperation between the federations.

The meeting of the federation leaders took place in Brest that is hosting the Best Athletes Cup featuring about 300 athletes from the two countries.
