MINSK, 16 August (BelTA) – A meeting took place at premises of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry to discuss matters concerning the improvement of the system for training personnel majoring in agriculture, the ministry’s press service told BelTA.
The Agriculture and Food Ministry hosted a working meeting of Agriculture and Food Minister Anatoly Linevich and Education Minister Andrei Ivanets. The first deputy ministers and heads of structural divisions also participated in the meeting.
Results and peculiarities of this year’s campaign for admission to educational institutions for agricultural specializations were discussed during the meeting.
Approaches to improving the system of training personnel for the specializations that agriculture needs most were worked out. The ministers decided in favor of working out unified approaches to optimizing admission to the education institutions that specialize in agriculture. The importance was mentioned of early career guidance, patriotic upbringing of students, the organization of ideological work among teachers and professors of the education institutions.
