The document was signed during a visit by a BNTU delegation led by Rector Sergei Kharitonchik to China to take part in an international conference on the integration and development of industry, education, and scientific research. “The creation of the joint faculty will be an important step in strengthening bilateral relations in education and science, fostering the development of innovative technologies and training specialists for the future. Another key event of the delegation’s visit to China was the signing of cooperation agreements between the Belarusian National Technical University and Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), one of China’s leading technical universities, ranked among the country’s top three and the world’s top 150 universities. “This agreement opens up new opportunities for joint scientific research, the exchange of experience between faculty members and students, and the implementation of projects in engineering, materials science, and instrument making. It is symbolic that BNTU and HIT were founded in the same year – 1920. Today, they are joining forces to build the future of science and education on a solid foundation of mutual respect and a shared commitment to innovation,” the press service emphasized.
