
MINSK, 22 April (BelTA) - Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maksim Ryzhenkov left an entry in the book of condolence for Pope Francis at the Apostolic Nunciature in Minsk on 22 April, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"On behalf of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and myself, I express condolences and words of support to the Holy See in connection with the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis," Maksim Ryzhenkov stated. "We will remember him as an outstanding spiritual leader whose work left an indelible mark on people's hearts."

"His selfless and generous service to God and humanity will always be an example not only for us but for future generations for centuries to come. I am confident that his noble intentions will be persistently carried out by his followers worldwide, bringing us closer to achieving the ideals of peace and justice, to which he dedicated his entire life and which are so dear to the Belarusian people," Maksim Ryzhenkov emphasized. "Belarus joins the world in mourning this great loss."
