MINSK, 13 February (BelTA) – The second session of the forum called as Youth of Belarus and Russia: A Look Into the Future will be held in the business and cultural complex of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia in Moscow on 13 February, official representative of the Central Committee of the Belarusian Youth Union BRSM, head of the international protocol Yevgenia Kakhaeva told BelTA.
“A Belarusian youth delegation arrived in Moscow to participate in the events. It includes representatives of the youth organization: the heads of the BRSM Central Committee and territorial committees, BRSM activists of the universities and labor collectives. The youth of Russia will be represented by Youth Union - heads and representatives of the National Youth Council of Youth and Children's Associations of Russia, the Russian Union of Youth, the Young Guard of the United Russia, the Russian Union of Rural Youth, the Youth Parliament of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, and students of the Financial University under the Government of Russia and Russian Technological University MIREA. BRSM has presented an exhibition highlighting the areas of its activities,” Yevgenia Kakhaeva said.
According to her, the plenary session will focus on the importance of the participation of young people of the two countries in choosing the future. "In particular, the youth will discuss important electoral periods in Belarus and Russia: the presidential election in Russia and the single voting day in Belarus. After the plenary session, the forum will continue working across the sections covering the topics ‘25 Years of the Union State. Retrospective and prospects of cooperation’, ‘Youth policy of Belarus and Russia. Experience of interaction’, ‘Social and Humanitarian Cooperation’. A joint resolution of the forum will be approved,” she summarized.
The Belarusian-Russian youth forum was initiated by the leading youth organizations of Belarus and Russia and supported by the Embassy of Belarus in Russia. The main goal of the forum is to discuss topical issues of the youth agenda of the Union State with the participation of outstanding social and political figures, heads of youth organizations of Belarus and Russia and activists of youth associations of the two countries.
