GRODNO, 6 December (BelTA) - Refugees are grateful to Belarus for all the help they receive in the current difficult situation, one of the refugees, who are staying in a temporary accommodation facility in the logistics center on the Belarus-Poland border, told BelTA.
Refugees have been staying on the Belarus-Poland border for 29 days already. People are staying in a temporary accommodation facility at the transport and logistics center near the Bruzgi border crossing.
“We would like to stress our respect to Belarus for the help. We are really in much better conditions compared to the forest. We have a roof over our heads, food, warm clothes. It is a better way to wait for our issue to be resolved,” said the young man. He stressed that people who are staying in the logistics hub have been actively discussing the situation and following the news.
“We hope that Europe will change its stance and pay attention to us. We do not want to go back to Iraq. There are simply no opportunities for life there: no work, no healthcare, no education,” the refugee said.
