Presidential orchestras and Cossack song festival among highlights of Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk

VITEBSK, 11 July (BelTA0 -  A gala concert featuring artists and bands of the Union State, two presidential orchestras, Cossack song festival, a ceremony to honor  winners of the children's song contest, an exhibition of art photography… Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk continues.

The vytinanka show opened early in the morning on Pushkin Street.

Youth Days kicked off with a march of the winners, which proceeded to the memorial complex in honor of soldiers-liberators, partisans and underground workers of Vitebsk Oblast. A ceremony to launch the Youth Days was held there as well. 
The Belarusian theater Lyalka welcomed colleagues from Penza and Nizhny Novgorod.

Vitebsk Regional Museum held a presentation of the Kerch Antique art photography exhibition at noon.

The winners of the 23rd International Children's Song Contest Vitebsk performed at the gala concert during which they were presented with well-deserved awards. This year, the CIS Executive Committee award made its debut.
The festival of Cossack culture and traditions got underway at 13:00 on the square near the monument to Pushkin.
Participants of the 34th International Song Contest Vitebsk will learn their starting numbers. Belarus will be represented by Valeria Bernatovich. 

Georgian artist Eteri Beriashvili will present her Strong Woman show in the Philharmonic at 18:00. 

The central event of the Union State Days will be a gala concert featuring artists and groups from Belarus and Russia. For the first time, it will feature the presidential orchestras of the two countries. The concert will start at 18:30 in the Summer Amphitheater.
