MINSK, 25 January (BelTA) – Russian nationals will be able to cast their ballot at Russia’s presidential election at polling stations in Minsk and all oblast capitals: Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno and Mogilev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Belarus Boris Gryzlov said, BelTA has learned.
The Russian diplomatic mission will publish detailed information on the addresses and schedules of polling stations, voting rules, the documents to be presented and other important things. "Anyway, we will try to organize the voting process in such a way that the visit to the polling station will be as convenient as possible for our citizens,” the ambassador said.
Boris Gryzlov thanked the Belarusian authorities for the assistance they have always provided during electoral campaigns: "We especially appreciate the support provided by our colleagues this year, as in February Belarus will hold its own elections on the single voting day and the preparations for and holding of these elections require considerable organizational resources.
