Polish expert shares his thoughts of elections in European countries

MINSK, 9 June (BelTA) - Presidential and parliamentary elections in European countries show that so-called Western democracy has been completely discredited, Polish political scientist and publicist Tomasz Gryguć said in a new episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA’s YouTube channel.
“The elections in Romania were won by a representative of the globalists who will not pose a threat to the interests of the European Union or the United States. In these elections, we could clearly see the discrediting of neoliberal Western democracy,” Tomasz Gryguć said.

The Polish political scientist cited another example. The Alternative for Germany party has come under the scrutiny of German counterintelligence, which can legally monitor the officially operating party and its members. “German counterintelligence, supposedly protecting democracy and the constitution, can infiltrate this structure with its own secret agents,” he emphasized.

According to Tomasz Gryguć, the situation is similar in France, where Marine Le Pen was simply banned from participating in the presidential race. In Georgia, which has been pursuing an independent policy since the elections, attempts were made to organize a coup d'état and bring people out to protest.

According to the political scientist, one of the most egregious cases occurred in Romania. “Let's remember how Georgescu won in the first round of elections in December but two phone calls from the Department of State forced the Romanian Constitutional Court to annul the first round of elections. Then the ‘right’ candidate won. What the West is doing is truly beyond human comprehension. I want to say that the 2020 U.S. election, where Trump won but, as a result of fraud, which he proved afterwards, Joe Biden was announced president, has become a sort of a symbol of the shame of so-called Western democracy,” he added.
