MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) – Russian journalist, historian and writer Armen Gasparyan said in an interview with Belarus 1 TV Channel that the aggressive actions of the Polish law enforcers at the border is total lawlessness, BelTA has learned.
“How can you treat people who in November, when it is rather chilly outside, and people have to sleep on the ground, douse them with water cannons? How can it be treated at all? I am, to put it mildly, shocked by this. Then we get news that Poland used some chemicals against these migrants. There is some sort of total lawlessness going on. It does not even smell like democracy,” said Armen Gasparyan.
According to the Russian journalist, Belarus, in turn, is doing everything possible for the refugees. “Belarus has provided them with shelter. Belarus is doing everything it can,” he added.
