Plans to build five more border guard stations at Belarusian-Ukrainian border in 2026

MINSK, 28 January (BelTA) – Plans are in place to build five border guard station compounds at the border with Ukraine in 2026. The task was formulated during an expanded-participation session of the board of the State Border Committee of Belarus in Minsk on 28 January. The session was held to sum up the committee’s work in 2025, BelTA has learned.

Plans have been made to build five more border guard station compounds at the Belarusian-Ukrainian border. The active realization continues of the state program “Border security in 2026-2030” and the program on enhancing the border security of the Union State of Belarus and Russia in 2023-2027.

Efforts will also be poured into improving the combat training of the personnel of the border service, the mobilization reserve, into improving field training, and into ensuring the preparedness for stopping armed provocations and other provocations at the state border.

The improvement of living standards of border guard personnel and their families will continue. Housing availability will be improved.
