MINSK, 19 February (BelTA) – Since 1 January 2024, a total of 32,630 residents of the EU countries neighboring Belarus have taken advantage of the visa-waiver to visit Belarus, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee.
They include 18,810 citizens of Lithuania, 6,324 citizens and 1,553 non-citizens of Latvia, as well as 5,943 citizens of Poland.
Since the start of the visa-waiver initiative, 833,236 foreigners have visited Belarus visa-free, including 514,021 citizens of Lithuania, 248,793 visitors from Latvia, and 70,422 citizens of Poland.
